Global Village (Dubai)
Global Village Dubailand, Dubai, is claimed to be the world's largest tourism, leisure, shopping and entertainment project. It is the region's first cultural, entertainment, family and shopping destination. Every year, it has over 5 million visitors over an area of 17,200,000 sq ft (1,600,000 m2).[1]

Timings
Global Village operates seven days a week, and opens its gates to visitors From Saturday to Wednesday from 4:00pm–12:00am, and opens until 1:00am on Thursday, Friday, and public holidays.There are also special days only for women, children and family.
Parking area
The parking area at Global Village was designed to host more than 17,000 cars with additional overflow parking areas used during peak times. Free parking shuttles are operated round the clock during the operating hours to transport visitors to and from the overflow parking areas.
History
Global Village started out in the form of a number of kiosks in 1996 located on the Creek Side opposite to Dubai Municipality. It then later shifted to the Oud Metha Area near Wafi City for 5 years.Today, Global Village has 6 million visitors at its current location in DubaiLand.

Best Buys From Global Village
There are many products available in Global Village. African black soap,[2] Chea Butter and Argan Oil are only few to consider. In addition, there are many authentic oriental home decoration products you can get from Tunisia Pavilion and the Egyptian Pavilion. There are also amazing honey varieties in the Yemen pavilion.[3]
Whilst the Global Village is communal place that also sells items such as perfume products from leading brands like Al Haramain Perfumes[4] and the Al Hajabane has also managed to grow in popularity thanks to the uniqueness of the Global Village.
