Global Telecom Holding S.A.E. (formerly Orascom Telecom Holding S.A.E.) (GTH) is an international telecommunications company operating mobile networks in several nations. GTH is based in Amsterdam.

Operations

Global Telecom (GTH) is operating in three emerging markets serving almost 100 million customers. The company has a customer base under license of approximately 400 million people, where 50% of the population is below 24 years of age. It has a mobile telephony penetration of between 70 and 115% as of December 2016. Global Telecom operates networks in Algeria (Djezzy), Pakistan (Jazz Pakistan), North Korea (Koryolink), and Bangladesh (Banglalink). Global Telecom is traded on the Cairo & Alexandria Stock Exchange. and based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.[2]
