Global Institute Lahore (abbreviated as GIL), established in 1996, is a Private University located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.^[2] It is chartered by Government of the Punjab and has been granted a degree awarding status by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.^[1]

In 2017, admission and degree attestation have been stopped by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan due to serious irregularities and mismanagement in the academic operations of the institution.^[3]^[4]
