Glenridge Elementary School
Glenridge Elementary School is one of the three elementary schools in Clayton, Missouri. It serves Grades K–5 and is located at 7447 Wellington Way. Glenridge is an elementary school providing a library, science lab and art classroom. Spanish language classes are provided. ESLP (English language learning program) classes are provided two to three times per week for non-native English speakers.

Currently, there are 370 students at Glenridge in grades K-5 (54% male, 46% female) and a student-teacher ratio of 1:12 (slightly below the MO state average of 1:13) with 31 teachers.[1]

History
Glenridge was established in 1929, becoming the first elementary school in Clayton. Twice (1997 and 2003) Glenridge was selected as a Blue-Ribbon School. In 2006, the school was expanded and a new playground was added to the school.[2]
