Even though he has a Belgian passport, and played various matches for the Belgian youth teams, he feels Italian. Rossini started playing football at local club RFC Houdeng. After three years with the youth of Charleroi and another year at RFC Houdeng, he was discovered by a RAEC Mons scouts, where he signed as a youth player.[2]

At a match against Beveren's reserve team, FC Utrecht-scout, Nol de Ruiter watched from the sideline. Shortly after, Rossini was signed by FC Utrecht from the Netherlands. After playing a year for the reserve side, he was promoted to the first team. Here he played between 2005 and 2008. He was often a substitute, because he was not dangerous in front of goal.
In 2008, he was signed by KV Mechelen from his homeland. There he played regularly, but like in Utrecht, he never manager to get a place in the starting eleven. In July 2010, he was picked up by KV Kortrijk, whom he signed a contract with until 2013.[3]
After scoring eight goals in 27 league matches for Kortrijk, Rossini signed with Belgian Pro League side, Zulte Waregem in May 2011.[4]
During his FC Utrecht period he was nicknamed "The Italian René van Rijswijk", because of his lack of goal scoring.
