Girija Oak is a Marathi film and television actress, notable for her performances in Taare Zameen Par (TZP) and Shor in the City.[1]
Career
Girija Oak made her debut on the big screen at the age of 15. She has worked in Marathi movies like Goshta Choti Dongraevadhi, Gulmohar, Manini and Adgule Madgule.[2][3]
Her first Marathi television show as lead actress was Zee Marathi's Lajja with Piyush Ranade, Tejaswini Pandit and Mukta Barve.[4] She portrayed a scandal victim Manaswini Desai (Manu) who was supported by a young and dynamic CID Inspector Aakash Ketkar (played by Piyush Ranade). The show was huge hit and her work was very well praised.

Personal life
Girija Oak is the daughter of Marathi actor Girish Oak. She completed her degree in business management.[6] She joined a theater workshop and started acting in advertisements. [7]
Girija Oak is married to Suhrud Godbole.[8] She the daughter in law of Marathi film actor, dialog writer and film producer Shrirang Godbole
