Ghailadh is one of the administrative divisions of Madhepura district in the Indian state of Bihar. The block headquarters are located at a distance of 32 km from the district headquarters, namely, Madhepura. घैलाढ़ एक समय फेमस था स्वतंत्रता सेनानी और कांग्रेस के पूर्व प्रदेश अध्यक्ष श्री लहटन चौधरी जी के नाम से यहाँ उनका ससुराल था । यहां के जनप्रिय मुखिया श्री गंगा प्रसाद चौधरी थे जिन्होंने 20 वर्षों तक घैलाढ़ पंचायत का प्रतिनिधि किया ।
