George Truefitt
George Truefitt was a Scottish architect. He was born in 1824 and died in 1902.[1] He learned how to be an architect under Lewis Cottingham.[2]
Career
He is famous for erecting over 25 different building throughout England.[1] He additionally worked in 15 different countries.[1] In his career he designed over 250 structures.[2] He wrote a number of books including, Designs for Country Churches.[1]
He retired in 1899 and died 3 years later.[1] He inspired Calvert Vaux in his designs.[3]
