George Speake
George Speake, FSA, is an English art historian and archaeologist.[1][2] He is an Honorary Research Fellow at the Institute of Archaeology at Oxford,[1][2] and "a leading authority on Anglo-Saxon animal art."[1] Currently Speake is the Anglo-Saxon Art and Iconography Specialist for the Staffordshire Hoard conservation team,[3] and is working on the reconstruction of the Staffordshire helmet.[4][5]
