George William Shaw (28 July 1913 – 9 January 1966) was an Australian politician. Born in Rockhampton, Queensland, he was educated at state schools before becoming a sugar mill manager at Mackay. In 1963, he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Country Party member for Dawson. He died in 1966; in the resulting by-election, Dawson was won by Labor for the first time.[1]
