George Henry Warren II

George Henry Warren II (October 17, 1855 – June 3, 1943)[1] was a New York City stockbroker and real estate developer.

Biography

George Henry Warren II was born in Troy, New York to George Henry Warren I (1823-1892)[2][3] and Mary Caroline Phoenix (1832-1901),[4] who were married on April 29, 1851 in New York City.

G. H. Warren II had 9 brothers and sisters, all born from the same father and mother, as follows:

George Henry Warren II married Georgia "Daisy" Williams (1863-1937)[13] on May 14, 1885 in New York City. They were the parents of Constance Whitney Warren (1888-1948),[14] who was a sculptress, and George Henry Warren III (1889-1971).[15]

  11. Whitney Warren (January 29, 1864 - January 24, 1943) - He had a twin sister named Anna Phoenix Warren (1864-1865). Whitney was the leading member of the famous New York City architectural firm Warren and Wetmore. He married Charlotte Augusta Tooker (June 2, 1864 - September 12, 1951) on July 17, 1884 in Newport, Rhode Island. Charlotte died while residing in the Carlton House Hotel in New York City. Charlotte's parents were Gabriel Mead Tooker (December 1840 - December 11, 1905) and Margaret Augusta Peckham (1842 - February 4, 1888). Gabriel died while abroad in Monte Carlo, and he and Margaret are both buried in the Protestant Cemetery in Rome.
