Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Surabaya (a national capital of the province of East Java), Indonesia. It is a part of the Surabaya Sports Center. The rest of the sports complex consists of an indoor stadium and a mosque. This stadium is used mostly for football matches. It replaced the older Gelora 10 November Stadium.

History

Groundbreaking occurred on 1 January 2008. Construction cost was estimated at Rp100 billion. The arena was designed by Malay architects KLIA. Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium was officially opened by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on 11 August 2010.
