Geisha J. Williams (born 1961/62) is an American businesswoman, the president and CEO of the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) since March 2017.[1]

Early life

Williams was born in Cuba, and emigrated to the U.S. with her family.[2] She has a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.[1]

Career

After university, Williams worked for Florida Power & Light (FPL), starting as a residential energy auditor.[3][2]

Williams joined PG&E in 2007.[1]

She is a director at the Edison Electric Institute, the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, and the Association of Edison Illuminating Companies, and the board chair for the Center for Energy Workforce Development.[3]

Personal life

She is married, with two daughters.[2]
