Gavin Mark Marshall (born 25 March 1960), Australian politician,[1] has been an Australian Labor Party member of the Australian Senate since July 2002, representing the state of Victoria.[2]

Marshall was born in Melbourne and was an electrician and official with the Electrical Trades Union[3] before entering politics.[2]

On 7 July 2014, Marshall was elected Deputy President of the Australian Senate and Chair of Committees.[4] His term in both positions ended on 9 May 2016.[5]
