Gauri Pathare

Gauri Pathare

Gauri Pathare is an Indian musician.

Training

Having initially trained under the guidance of Pt. Gangadharbuwa Pimpalkhare of Kirana gharana, Gauri received musical knowledge from the late Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki & Pandita Padmatai Talwalkar for several years. Since 2010 Gauri has been receiving Jaipur gharana training under Pt. Arun Dravid. Her training under different Gurus influenced Gauri's gayaki. She has trained in the 3 gharanas, Jaipur, Gwalior and Kirana.

Her leaning has been towards Jaipur Gharana.

Gauri has blended Jaipur, Gwalior and Kirana gharana's gayaki to form her style of Khayal presentation.

Gauri has been trained in various voice culture techniques by Ustaad Syeeduddin Daagar (cousin of Wasifuddin Daagar) a noted Dhrupad Dhamar gaayak.

Retaining emotional quotient of each raag, while blending the gayakis is what Gauri believes in.
