Gateway Classic (Symetra Tour)
The Gateway Classic is an annual golf tournament for professional women golfers on the Symetra Tour, the LPGA's developmental tour. The event has been played since 2013 at the Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona.
For 2013 and 2014, the title sponsor of the tournament was VisitMesa.com, the official website of the Mesa Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The tournament is a 54-hole event, as are most Symetra Tour tournaments, and includes pre-tournament pro-am opportunities, in which local amateur golfers can play with the professional golfers from the Tour.[1]
