Garrison Stadium is a former cricket ground in Gillingham, Kent. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1937, when Kent played Worcestershire in the grounds first first-class match. From 1937 to 1968, the ground held 30 first-class matches, the last of which saw Kent play Hampshire in the 1968 County Championship.[1]
The ground has also held 3 List-A matches. The first List-A match saw Kent played Glamorgan in the 1971 John Player League. The ground held its second List-A match when Kent played Gloucestershire in the same competition. The third and final List-A match on the ground came in 1972 when Kent played Leicestershire in the 1972 John Player League.[2]
The final recorded match on the ground came in 1999 when Old Anchorians played Catford and Cyphers in the Kent Cricket League.[3] The ground is no longer used for cricket, but rugby league, football, field hockey and athletics take place at the venue.
