Gamma Pictoris (γ Pic) is a star in the constellation Pictor. Its apparent magnitude is 4.50[2] and it is approximately 176.8 light years away based on parallax.[1] A class K1III[3] orange giant, its diameter has been estimated as around 11 times that of the Sun.[6]
