Parliamentary elections are set to be held in Gabon by April 2018.[1] Previous dates had been set on 29 July 2017 and 27 December 2016 but postponed due to a shortage of funds and to enable political dialogue.[2]
Electoral system
The 120 members of the National Assembly are elected from nine multi-member constituencies based on the provinces using the two-round system. Constituencies are between nine and eighteen seats in size.[3]
