George Burwell Ward was the head coach of the University of New Hampshire's football team in 1904. He compiled an anemic 0-7 record in his short stint with the Wildcats.

He was a graduate of Yale University's Law School, where he lettered in hockey, football and baseball.[3] He later worked as an attorney in Connecticut until his death from a short illness in 1942.
