Futlyar is a wire-guided, heat-seeking torpedo with a top speed over 60 kn (110 km/h; 69 mph) and a maximum depth capability of more than 500 m (1,600 ft). It would be able to hit targets at a range of over 60 km (32 nmi; 37 mi). It will first equip the new Borey and Yasen classes of nuclear submarines.[1][2][3][4]
