Freeh Group International Solutions was founded by Former FBI Director Louis J. Freeh in May 2007. It is a global consulting enterprise headquartered in Wilmington DE, with regional offices in New York, Washington, London and Rome.

JE Schmitz has joined the group of principals listed on the Web site in February, 2010 and Michael T. Marquardt is not there. Marquardt was listed above in February, 2010.[2]

The firm "is the fulfillment of the vision of" Freeh, according to the website. It was founded after, and in important personnel aspects -- Freeh, Sullivan and Sporkin -- resembles, the now-to-some-extent dormant Gavel Consulting Group, which has Judge Sullivan as its lead principal.[3][4]
