Books

F-Day: The Second Dawn Of Man[3] is a Political drama in which the main character Karl Drayton initiates a hypothetical countdown to a moneyless society.[4][5] Published by Applied Image in July 2016.

Into The Open Economy[6] is a short non-fiction work, where Turner suggests the operations and means to create a moneyless open (sharing) economy. Published by Applied Image in August 2016.

The Free World Charter

Founded in April 2011,[7] The Free World Charter is a petition style document of what Turner describes as "ten fundamental principles on which to grow an entirely new world society based on fairness, common sense and survival." On the website, users are invited to endorse each of the ten principles to demonstrate their agreement.

The charter has been endorsed by fifty-five thousand people and has been translated into many languages.[7] It has publicly been endorsed by the Raelian and Paradism Movements.[8] Other endorsees include French actor Gérard Depardieu, South Africa's Ubuntu Party leader Michael Tellinger, Richard Osmaston of the Money Free Party, New Zealand, British author and hypnotherapist Glenn Harrold, and Austrian economics professor and co-author of Das Ende (des Geldes) [9] Franz Hörmann [10][11][12][13]

The charter has been written about extensively by many alternative media websites such as ShoutOutUK[14], Rielpolitik and Collective Evolution.[15] Turner was the subject of much media interest surrounding his 'moneyless' round the world travel attempt in 2013. [16][17][18]

The principles of the charter

Turner's Free World Charter consists of ten guiding principles which he describes as foundational building blocks for an optimal society. The principles are:

  1. The highest concern of humanity is the combined common good of all living species and biosphere.
  2. Life is precious in all its forms, and free to flourish in the combined common good.
  3. Earth's natural resources are the birthright of all its inhabitants, and free to share in the combined common good.
  4. Every human being is an equal part of a worldwide community of humans, and a free citizen of Earth.
  5. Our community is founded on the spirit of cooperation and an understanding of nature, provided through basic education.
  6. Our community provides for all its members the necessities of a healthy, fulfilling and sustainable life, freely and without obligation.
  7. Our community respects the limits of nature and its resources, ensuring minimal consumption and waste.
  8. Our community derives its solutions and advances progress primarily through the application of logic and best available knowledge.
  9. Our community acknowledges its duty of care and compassion for members who are unable to contribute.
  10. Our community acknowledges its responsibility to maintain a diverse and sustainable biosphere for all future life to enjoy.
