Fred Rosewell Church (17 October 1889[1] 7 January 1983)[2] was an American actor of the silent era. After touring the U.S. in vaudeville, he joined Gilbert M. 'Broncho Billy' Anderson in Western films for the latter's Essanay Studios. He appeared in over 200 films between 1908 and 1935. He was born in Ontario/Boone, Iowa and died in Blythe, California,[3] near his home in Quartzsite, Arizona, from a congestive heart failure
