Frank Heaney (23 November 1886 – 24 August 1937) was an Irish amateur football right back who played in the Football League for Leeds City.[1][2][3] He was included in the Irish Free State squad for the 1924 Summer OIympics, but did not travel to the tournament.[2]
Personal life
Heaney served in the Irish Guards during the First World War.[3] He died of stomach cancer in 1937.[3]
