Fox River (Mississippi River)

Fox River is a stream in Davis, Guthrie, Van Buren counties of Iowa and Clark County of Missouri.[1] It is a tributary of the Mississippi River.

The stream headwaters are at 40°45′13″N 92°43′26″W / 40.75361°N 92.72389°W / 40.75361; -92.72389 and the confluence with the Mississippee is at 40°17′05″N 91°29′39″W / 40.28472°N 91.49417°W / 40.28472; -91.49417Coordinates: 40°17′05″N 91°29′39″W / 40.28472°N 91.49417°W / 40.28472; -91.49417.[1]

Fox River was named after the Fox Indians.[2]
