Flyte (band)
Flyte are an English alternative-pop band from London, consisting of Will Taylor (lead vocals, guitar), Sam Berridge (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Jon Supran (drums, backing vocals) and Nick Hill (bass, backing vocals). [1]

Early Years
Flyte's debut ‘Live EP’ was recorded in a day by Hugh Fielding, and mixed by Dan Grech-Marguerat. The lead track of the EP 'Over and Out" picked up a ‘Next Hype’ play on Zane Lowe‘s Radio 1 show and further Radio 1 plays from Fearne Cotton.[2]
2014
Their first single 'We Are The Rain' was released on Transgressive Records on 28 April 2014.[3] The single and b-side 'Where Nobody Knows Your Name" were mixed and produced by Dan Grech-Marguerat. and released digitally along with a limited run of 7" vinyl. The video for We Are The Rain was premiered by Michael Cragg on the Guardian's music blog. The single received support from Radio 1, XFM, BBC 6Music, BBC London, & Amazing Radio.
Their second single 'Light Me Up' was released on Turned Out Nice / Island Records on 17 November 2014.[4] The single was recorded by Hugh Fielding at the band's own recording facility within Goldmine Studios in Bethnal Green and mixed by Mike Crossey. Light Me Up was listed on XFM's evening playlist and included as one of the station's 5 Best Songs of the Week.[5]
2015
The band released 2 singles on Island Records 'Closer Together'[6] and 'Please Eloise'.[7] 'Closer Together' was remixed by Bombay Bicycle Club singer Jack Steadman.[8]
2016
The band spent 2016 recording their debut album with Australian–Canadian record producer Burke Reid.[9]
Live Performance
Flyte have toured with Bombay Bicycle Club and MS MR and supported Hudson Taylor, We Were Evergreen and completed their first UK headline tour in November .[10]
Flyte have performed at various festivals across the UK including Reading & Leeds Festivals, Wilderness Festival, Calling Festival as well as First We Take Berlin in Germany.[11]
