Background
The club is located at 102 E. Magnolia Blvd., Burbank, California.[1] It was founded in 2008 as a venue to provide food, laughs and workshops for comedy lovers.[2] The venue is the home club for comedian Drew Lynch who has appeared there on various occasions.[3]
Events
It was announced that from August 14th through to August 20th, the 2016 Burbank Comedy Festival was held at the club. Over 200 acts were to appear.[4] Later that year, an event that had a panel of judges including Hayley Angela Gilbert, Shang Forbes, Erik Schwartz, Matt Taylor and Adam Hunter was announced for December 11th. It was a talent show based on the television show, The Voice. Instead of having competitors singing, the show would have stand up comedians competing.[5]
In 2017 to celebrate Women's History Month, the club was set to feature female headliners that included Cocoa Brown, Taylor Tomlinson and Laurie Kilmartin.[6]
Acts
In 2015, Alonzo Bodden was set to appear on June 26th and 27th.[7] In April 2016, Dave Coulier was set to appear at the club.[8] In February 2017, Rory Albanese was appearing at the club.[9] In March 2017, Cedric The Entertainer was set to appear there.[10]
