Findlay Airport (IATA: FDY, ICAO: KFDY, FAA LID: FDY) is a city owned public use airport located one nautical mile (1.6 km) southwest of the central business district of Findlay, a city in Hancock County, Ohio, United States.[2]
Facilities and aircraft
Findlay Airport covers an area of 338 acres (137 ha) at an elevation of 813 feet (248 m) above mean sea level. It has two runways: 7/25 with a 5,883 by 100 ft (1,793 x 30 m) asphalt surface and 18/36 with a 6,499 by 100 ft (1,981 x 30 m) asphalt surface. For the 12-month period ending August 14, 2015, the airport had 24,550 aircraft operations, an average of 67 per day: 98% general aviation, 2% air taxi and <1% military. In November 2016, there were 22 aircraft based at this airport: 17 single-engine, 4 jet and 1 helicopter.[3]
