Fernando or Hernando Yáñez de la Almedina (Almedina, c. 1475? - Valencia, 1536) was a Spanish painter. He was one of the most important early Renaissance painters in Spain. Of morisco origin, he went to Italy to study art, in the process becoming familiar with the work of Leonardo da Vinci.[1][2] Upon his return to Spain, he collaborated with Hernando de los Llanos on a number of pieces.[3]
