Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) is an award for physicians who are judged by the Royal College of Physicians to be “exceptional and innovative”.[1]
Nominations
There are two routes to enter the process of scrutiny and election which may lead to fellowship:
- Doctors can be proposed by an existing FRCP who completes a proposal form on the doctor’s behalf[1]
- Doctors who have held Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MCRP) for 4 years or more are automatically entered into the fellowship process[1]
Fellows are entitled to use the designatory letters FRCP after their name,[1] see Category:Fellows of the Royal College of Physicians for examples.
