Felipe Montemayor (born February 7, 1928 in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico) is a former outfielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates in Major League Baseball. He was nicknamed "Clipper".
He made his major league debut on April 14, 1953.
He only played in 1953 and 1955, and had a .173 career batting average.
Montemayor's only two career home runs came in both games of a doubleheader against the St. Louis Cardinals on May 1, 1955.[1]
As of December 25, 2016, upon the death of Johnny Rutherford, Montemayor becomes the 100th oldest living former major leaguer.
