Felicity Palmateer is a professional surfer from Australia.

Felicity Palmateer, nicknamed “Flick”, was born on August 4, 1992 in Perth, Western Australia.[7]

Life

She spent her childhood on the beaches of Western Australia surfing with her father and two younger brothers. She was only 12 years old when she competed in her first surf contest. Felicity’s parents, both artists, have always encouraged and supported both of Felicity’s careers of art and surfing. They were also instrumental in infusing a positive attitude and easygoing style, which their daughter processes with ease.[8]

Career

In 2015 Palmateer rode the biggest wave even ridden by a female Australian surfer at Cowaramup Bombora (aka Cow Bombie) off the coast of Margaret River, south of Perth.[9]

In 2016, she was invited to compete in the Pe'ahi Women's Challenge on the island of Maui.
