Fedra is a 1956 Spanish drama film directed by Manuel Mur Oti and starring Emma Penella, Enrique Diosdado and Vicente Parra.[1]
Synopsis
The story is based in the ancient greek legend. A pretty and untamed girl named Estrella falls in love with Fernando, the son of the richest man in a little village at the shore of the Mediterranean Sea.
Fernando hates women, so he rejects her. Crazy of love, Estrella marries his father, Don Juan, to be closer to Fernando. The rumours run all around the village and the tragedy comes in a stormy night.
