Fare Thee Well Enniskillen

"Fare Thee Well Enniskillen" is a traditional Irish song. It was the quick march of the Inniskilling Dragoons.[1] Dr. George Sigerson adapted the music and wrote the words to the ballad.[2] [3]

In the 1960s the song was popularized when a fresh version was written by Tommy Makem who re-wrote some of the lyrics and performed it with the Clancy Brothers. The song describes the regiment's service in Spain during the Napoleonic Wars.
