School seal
The seal of Faith Academy contains the school name. The school motto is in a circle surrounding the emblem. The motto “The Truth will make you Free.” “Truth” is a reference to the Lord Jesus Christ, the founder and corner stone of Faith Academy. Jesus said, “I am the Truth” (John 14:16).
- The central figure of the seal is a shield – a symbol of faith. (Ephesians 6:16) The shield is an instrument of defence. My faith in Jesus Christ protects me from Satan’s fiery darts.
- The helmet of salvation (Ephesians 6:17) rests upon the shield of faith. By God’s grace we are saved through faith. (Ephesians 2:8)
- The four stars represent God’s view of a wise believer, (Daniel 12:3). They also represent Faith Academy’s four houses- Justice, Loyalty, Patience and Truth.
- The open Bible is an open book for all to read. Its central person is the Lord Jesus Christ. Its central theme is salvation by grace through faith in Christ’s death and resurrection.
- The burning torch means believers in Jesus are the light of the world. (Matthew 5:14) – We are to shine in the world for Jesus Christ.
- The Cross Jesus Christ says if any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. (Luke 9:23).
- Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. (Revelation 2 : 10).
- The palm branches are a sign of victory. We shall wave the palm of victory, when we reign with Christ. (Revelation 7:9).

Social Work and Counselling
The Social Work and Counselling Department of Faith Academy works for the emotional well being of the students. The team consists of a full-time Counsellor and a Social Worker cum Counsellor. Many students are referred by their teachers for counselling and follow up is also done. Parents often approach the counsellors and seek advice on how to handle their growing children, especially teenagers. In some cases, children come and share the problems that they are facing with other students or even their parents and teachers. In all cases, an intake interview is conducted to gather their details. The parents are also counselled as problems of children may have roots in circumstances at home.
Career counselling is another area of work. Another initiative of the department is the identification and referral of children with learning disabilities.[4]
