Fairy Bones is an American alternative rock band from Phoenix, Arizona. The band was founded by Chelsey Louise (lead vocals, guitar) and Robert Ciuca (guitar) with brothers Ben (bass) and Matthew Foos (drums).
Biography
Fairy Bones was founded in 2013.[1] They recorded The Fairy Bones EP with Bob Hoag (The Ataris, Gin Blossoms) in Mesa, Arizona in June and released it in October.[2][3] They have a strong LGBT following.[4]
In 2015, they recorded and released their first album Dramabot, again with producer Bob Hoag.[5] That year they were named "Best Local Band" by Phoenix New Times.[6]
In 2016, after a short hiatus to record and an instrumentation change, they were added as tour support for Highly Suspect on a string of west coast dates.[7] They released two singles, 8 Ball and Pink Plastic Cups.[8][9]
In 2017, they released their third single titled No One Can Suffer Like I Can.[10]
They have opened for Mother Mother, Kongos (band), Alien Ant Farm, Marcy Playground, Fuel (band) and Kyle Gass Band.
They will release their second album in 2018, purportedly titled "0% Fun".[11]
