Lübeck University of Applied Sciences

The Fachhochschule Lübeck is a university in the city of Lübeck in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. The name of the institution translates as "Lübeck University of Applied Sciences Lübeck" in English, but in conversations and prose it is generally called by its German name or by the acronym of the German name, FHL.

International Collaborations

It is of special note that 2005 was the tenth anniversary of FHL's electrical engineering exchange program with MSOE (Milwaukee School of Engineering). Also, there are successful international partnerships in the areas of industrial and mechanical engineering. Recently, FHL has worked with MSOE to develop a MIS exchange program. FHL collaborates and has exchange programs with other universities in the United States, as well as with universities in China, Denmark, Finland, France, Ghana, Ireland, Latvia, Spain, and Sweden. Currently there are also more than 70 Exchange Students from East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai participating German's Style Education in Environmental Engineering and Electrical Engineering. In further hand, 5 to 7 students qualify themselves to enroll IFIM Business School, Bangalore, India and 6 to 8 students of the counterpart school come as a part of yearly exchange program. As the result of these mobility programs, cultural diversity at FHL is extraordinary.
