Mindbreeze, with headquarters in Linz, Austria, is a leading European provider of software products for enterprise search, big data, and knowledge management. [3][4]

The products enable a consolidated view of the company's knowledge, regardless of where (data sources) and how (structured, unstructured) it is stored.

The name Mindbreeze was coined as an amalgamation of the words “mind“ and “breeze.“ Mind represents the cognitive abilities of the products, and breeze represents their nature as supportive products in the background of a company’s activities[5]

Features

Through cognitive computing, Mindbreeze InSpire relates scattered information to knowledge and makes it available in natural language, comprehensively and proactively.

Mindbreeze learns from every content and every user

Machine learning and deep learning enable the system to learn from past examples. Important information is gleaned from training documents and saved. The data is then further developed and enriched with new insights. New information is linked with existing knowledge and correlations are recognized.

Personalized results for different groups

Because the information is automatically processed in such a way that it corresponds to a specific role in the company, different employees or groups receive a different view of the company's knowledge, even if they use the same information sources. These personalized search results help employees get their work done more efficiently.

Proactive information management

On the basis of permanent observation −how a person works and which information is relevant and significant to him − insight engines learn how to categorize the relevance of data and provide proactive, personalized, and timely information.

Search-driven BI

Unlike conventional business intelligence solutions, insight engines can also factor unstructured data in their analyses and predictions, since all relevant information is included in the search. These results are also enriched with context-relevant information, resulting in a 360-degree view of all existing company data, which provides decision-makers with the right information at the right time, in the right context. Thanks to its easy operation, users can quickly and independently carry out analyses and create reports without the help of the IT staff.

Search app designer

Special disciplines have specific requirements, and experts in a given field know the available information and the relevant processes in detail. The Search app designer allows users to create their own search applications without requiring IT know-how. The editor allows you to link and display information from different sources. The display can be easily customized. The editor contains a selection of design elements, or widgets, such as filters, that can be freely combined without programming knowledge.

Search in all sources

More than 450 connectors bring together information from a vast range of data sources into one semantic search index. This data can come directly from the company as well as from the Internet. Microsoft programs, e-mails, PDFs and even data from CRM systems, information from the Internet, etc. are included in the search. Correlations are clearly recognized and within a very short amount of time, all relevant information is available.

Dynamic filters

The dynamic filters create the possibility for structuring by categories. For example, they enable a specific search for sources, authors, annual figures, or file formats.

Contact searches

Any data relating to a person that was created by or for a person can be found using a specific search query. In addition, contact details, areas of responsibility, and the department can be acquired by means of the search.

Document preview

A database that contains all the important information and is modeled around the search term allows you to preview the data in advance using the preview function without having to open the core programs.

Global access

The mobile search provides secure access to all relevant company information via mobile devices such as a tablet or smartphone.

Solutions

Knowledge management

Data and information are often scattered throughout the company. Mindbreeze finds, links, and makes available information so that the existing knowledge can be used.

Classification

The classification enables simple handling of a company’s incoming mail via different channels. Mindbreeze enables automated sorting and forwarding of the documents received.

Search tool for websites

Mindbreeze enables optimized search results via company portals, websites, blogs, and social media channels.

GSA replacement

An equivalent to the Google Search Appliance, Mindbreeze offers a simple, uncomplicated solution.

Augmented knowledge

Mindbreeze understands the meaning of information and presents it in context in a clear and structured manner − personalized and reorganized with a focus on semantic correlations. Thus, information is pooled into a visual overall view (360° view) − all information is retrievable at a glance, and both information and concepts are presented in their respective context.

Contract management

Important documents such as contracts require careful handling. Confidential documents are only made available to persons authorized to view them.
