FC Lokomotiv-Kazanka Moscow (Russian: Футбольный клуб "Локомотив-Казанка" Москва, FK Lokomotiv-Kazanka Moskva) is a Russian association football club based in Moscow. The club was formed on 13 February 2008 as FC Lokomotiv-2 Moscow and played on the professional level from 2009 to 2013–14 season. The club was reformed before the 2017–18 season under its current name and reentered the Russian Professional Football League. Lokomotiv-Kazanka Moscow acts as the farm club or feeder team of Lokomotiv Moscow.[1]

History

The debut of Loko-2 in its first ever football league can be considered a success. Lokomotiv-2 Moscow competed in the Amateur Football League and overall they did pretty well. They secured the bronze medals, that is the third place by beating Zenit Moscow on the final day in front of a sizeable crowd.

Lokomotiv reserves team competed in the Russian Second Division in 1992–1993, in the Russian Third Division in 1994–1997 (as FC Lokomotiv-d Moscow) and back in the Russian Second Division in 1998–2000 (as FC Lokomotiv-2 Moscow). Since 2001 that team plays in a separate reserves tournament for the Russian Premier League teams.
