Football Club Artsakh (Armenian: Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ Արցախ), is an Armenian professional football club based in Yerevan. It was founded in 2017 by a group of football fans from the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
Overview
They club's inaugural match took place on July 2, 2017, against FC Banants in the Banants Stadium. The friendly match ended with a goalless draw.[1]
Currently managed by Tigran Yesayan,[2] Artsakh will participate in the 2017–18 Armenian First League competition.[3]
The club's football school is based in the city of Stepanakert; the capital of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
