Extortion, is a 2017 American thriller film, starring Eion Bailey,[2] Bethany Joy Lenz, Barkhad Abdi, and Danny Glover.[3]
Plot
At a Caribbean resort, doctor Kevin Riley (Eion Bailey) and his family take a carefree boat ride in the Bahamas that turns tragic when they are stranded on an island. Near death, they are rescued by a local fisherman (Barkhad Abdi) who demands a million dollars to save them. Local fisherman then takes Kevin to shores and he manages to arrange around a fraction of the amount demanded as ransom. Kevin and the local fishermen then proceed to the island Kevin riding another boat locked up in the cabin. After an intriguing turn of events Kevin finally manages to rescue his family.
