The Everett AquaSox are a Minor League Baseball team in Everett, Washington, in the short-season Class A Northwest League. The team began play in 1984 as the Everett Giants, an affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. Eleven years later, the Everett Giants and Bellingham Mariners switched cities for the 1995 season, and the Seattle Mariners' affiliate was renamed the Everett AquaSox.

One of the team logos, used on road caps and jerseys, is based on the "trident" insignia used by the Mariners in the early 1980s (rotated to look like the letter E for Everett, instead of M for Mariners). Previously, the mascot for the Everett Giants was a giant hot dog named Frank.

In 2010, Everett won its first Northwest League championship as the AquaSox, although they had also won the league championship in 1985 as the Giants.[2]

The AquaSox play home games at Everett Memorial Stadium; opened 33 years ago in 1984, it has a seating capacity of 3,682.

The manager in 2014 was Dave Valle, a former catcher with the Seattle Mariners. The current manager is José Moreno (baseball).

On June 17, 1987, with 3,122 fans watching, Ken Griffey, Jr., playing for the Bellingham Mariners, hit his first professional home run over the left field wall, with the ball landing in the street approximately 387 feet from home plate. A plaque on the sidewalk marks the site just outside the left field wall at Everett Memorial Stadium.[3]
