Eusynthemis tenera is a species of dragonfly of the family Synthemistidae,[2][3] known as the rainforest tigertail.[4] It is a medium-sized dragonfly with black and yellow markings.[4][5] It inhabits rainforest streams in north-eastern Australia[6]

Eusynthemis tenera appears similar to Eusynthemis guttata which is found in alpine streams.[4]
