Estradiol pivalate (brand name Estrotate), also known as estradiol trimethyl acetate, trimethyl estradiol acetate, or estradiol 17-(2,2-dimethylpropanoate), is a semisynthetic, steroidal estrogen that was introduced in the 1940s.[1] It is an estrogen ester, specifically, an ester of estradiol.[1]
