Estância Roque is a settlement in the eastern part of the island of Fogo, Cape Verde on the foot of the main mountain of Fogo that includes Pico do Fogo. Its 2010 population was 411 It is situated 3 km west of Cova Figueira and 19 km east of the island capital São Filipe. Nearby places include Cova Figueira in the east, Figueira Pavão in the south and Cabeça Fundão in the north.

The settlement named etymology is named that a ranch was once located and in a rocky area.

The area are surrounded by earlier lava flows from the Previous Fogo eruptions., especially the 1681 eruption

Agriculture like other parts of that portion of the island is the key economy of the village.

Around 73,000 years ago, the area was formed as part of the interior of the earlier Fogo Mountain, the eastern half collapsed and with some erosion and lava flow over the centuries it would form the current landscape,[2][3] its landscape before was about 700-800 meters (2,000-2,500 feet) higher.
