Eric G. Griego (born January 22, 1966 in Albuquerque, New Mexico)[1] is an American politician from the state of New Mexico. A member of the Democratic, he served in the New Mexico Senate, representing the 14th district.
Griego sought the Democratic nomination in the 2012 Congressional election,[2] losing the nomination to Michelle Lujan Grisham.
On January 20, 2013, his brother Greg, his wife, and three of their children were found shot to death in their home in New Mexico. Greg Griego's oldest son Nehemiah has been charged with the crime.[3]
