Eressa subaurata is a moth of the family Erebidae. It was described by Walker in 1854. It is found in Sri Lanka.[1]

Antennae bipectinate in male, branches short and dilated distally. Antennae serrate in female. Differs from Eressa confinis in being smaller and in the interno-median hyaline patch of fore wing extending to near the base of wing.[2]
