The Ereğli Coal Mine is a coal mine located in Zonguldak Province, Turkey. The mine has coal reserves amounting to 1 billion metric tons of lignite, one of the largest coal reserves in Asia and the world. The mine has an annual production capacity of 5.7 million metric tons of coal.[1]
