Epichorista tenebrosa is a species of moth of the Tortricidae family. It is found in New Zealand.
The wingspan is 25–28 mm for males and about 22 mm for females. The forewings are dull grey brown with a purplish gloss and several reddish or fuscous strigulations (fine streaks). The hindwings are fuscous grey, mottled with darker.[2]
